Fees

Initial Consultation: I offer free 15-minute phone consultations to determine if we are a good fit, and to confirm that I am competent to address your concerns. If we decide against working together, I will do my best to provide you with appropriate referrals.

First Session (Adults): I view our first meeting as a bit of a trial to determine our goodness of fit. You will be charged for the first appointment only if we decide to proceed with therapy (i.e. if we meet once and the choice is made not to meet again, you will not be charged for the initial appointment). I typically do 75-minute initial appointments at a rate of $330. Subsequent appointments are usually 45 minutes as outlined below.

Session Rates (Adults): I charge $200 for 45 a minute appointment. Extended sessions are available on a case-by-case basis and the cost will be discussed individually. 

First Session and Session Rates (Adolescents): Teen intakes typically run 90 minutes and include meeting jointly with teen & parents, time alone with teen, and time alone with parents, the intake fee is $400. Subsequent sessions are $200 for 45 minutes. 

Sliding Scale: I reserve a portion of my weekly hours for clients with less financial means. In these instances, you and I will determine a cost that is reasonable and realistic. Please inquire about sliding scale openings during the initial 15-minute phone consultation. 

I am currently not on any insurance panels. This means that I am considered an out of network provider for any insurance claims. If you have mental health coverage and would like to submit a claim to your insurance provider for reimbursement, I am happy to complete necessary paperwork for this submission.

Cancellation: If you need to cancel or reschedule a session please contact me by phone at least 48 hours in advance. I try to be flexible and accommodate most appointment change requests. Cancellations within 48 hours of our scheduled appointment will incur the full session fee.
